Under the supervision of the Community Relations Manager, this role operates in a deadline-driven environment to support the marketing team and generate awareness of Gonzaba Medical Group services and providers through event planning and community outreach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with external and internal partners.
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and health fairs to promote Gonzaba Medical Group services and providers.
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing teams, including printing, cutting flyers, answering phones, data entry, and updating events calendars.
- Communicate the Gonzaba Medical Group story and key differentiators from competitors.
- Identify event opportunities targeting the Medicare-eligible population to support growth of Medicare Care patients/prospects.
- Coordinate external and internal events, including:
- Event scheduling and venue research (ballrooms, commercial stores, churches, etc.).
- Planning all aspects of events: giveaway orders, decorations, supplies, audio, entertainment, layout, advertisement, flyers, and venue securing.
- Staying under budget while planning event specifications.
- Event setup and breakdown, requiring the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Log event attendance in SalesForce.
- Maintain effective time management and work with minimal supervision.
- Build knowledge of CMS regulations related to marketing, events, and clinic settings.
- Support all marketing initiatives, share best practices, and stay informed about industry trends, competition, and new opportunities.
- Identify lead patients/prospects at events to achieve department growth goals.
- Work on weekends and occasional evenings.
- Drive and operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle (with valid Texas Driver License, proof of insurance, and successful motor vehicle history check for mileage reimbursement).
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Manual dexterity, ability to sit, stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency preferred.
Work Environment
- May work in a clinical setting, office environment within a clinic, or outdoors.
- Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other clinic conditions.
- Works in varying conditions: heat, cold, wet, dust, and rain.
