About the role
The Marketing Engagement Associate Manager oversees marketing initiatives, develops strategic program roadmaps, supports post-launch validations, manages contracts and invoices with creative agencies, and surveys and analyzes competitive industry landscapes to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Executes client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to client stakeholders.
- Oversees all aspects of the marketing program lifecycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field.
- Operates independently to provide quality work.
- Manages departmental budgets.
- Incorporates feedback into work and maintains a continuous improvement mindset.
- Gathers business requirements, identifies needs, identifies gaps, and works with cross-functional teams to solve issues.
- Learns and leads others on project initiatives.
- Collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional groups.
- Writes and develops business cases, pitch decks, and case studies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in marketing operations, credit, acquisitions, product development, or analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with CRM systems such as SFMC, Adobe, Eloqua, Marketo.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry (FDA, EPA, CDC).
- Critical thinking to creatively transform strategies into visions via roadmaps, OKRs.
- Experience working with and/or leading cross-functional teams to define and achieve high-value business goals.
- Knowledge of market dynamics, products, and competitive climate.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
