About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Marketing, Demand Generation to lead our strategic marketing initiatives focused on lead generation and revenue growth within Novanta’s Robotics & Automation business unit. This unit is the world-leading engineering-based developer of robotic accessories and robot arm tooling, including Automatic Tool Changers, Multi-Axis Force/Torque Sensing Systems, Utility Couplers, Material Removal Tools, Robotic Collision Sensors, Manual Tool Changers, and Compliance Devices. Our products are found in thousands of successful applications worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align efforts and drive revenue.
- Use data and analytics to measure and improve performance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners and influencers.
- Conduct market and customer research.
- Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
- Measure and report on campaign success using key metrics.
- Resolve challenges within the demand generation process.
- Provide team training and support on best practices and tools.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement instructions from the quality/environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.
Requirements
- Extensive experience leading marketing initiatives and teams in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of marketing professionals.
- Deep understanding of market trends and customer behavior to inform marketing strategies and data-driven decisions.
- Experience in demand generation through paid campaigns on platforms like Google, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau is a plus.
- Ability to influence without authority and collaborate effectively with executive leaders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to anticipate and resolve complex issues and make critical decisions.
Travel
20% travel required.
