Marketing Director
About the role
District Partners has been retained by a growing consumer products organization at a point where marketing is becoming increasingly important to how the business scales. The company has strong products, established customer relationships, and multiple routes to market, but needs a senior marketing leader who can bring those pieces together into a more cohesive growth engine. This is an opportunity to own the marketing strategy, influence how the company goes to market, and build greater discipline around brand, digital, customer marketing, and measurable commercial impact.
Responsibilities
- Build and own an integrated marketing strategy that connects company growth priorities to clear campaigns, investments, KPIs, and measurable outcomes
- Strengthen how the organization supports retail customers and sales through customer-specific programs, compelling B2B positioning, launches, and category growth initiatives
- Advance the digital marketing engine across web, social, email, search, paid media, and emerging channels, using performance data to continuously improve results
- Establish a consistent brand voice and messaging strategy that translates product innovation into compelling customer and consumer value
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new products, categories, collections, and customer initiatives while creating stronger coordination across marketing, sales, product, e-commerce, and creative
- Bring greater measurement and accountability to marketing investment by establishing meaningful KPIs and using performance data to guide investment decisions
Qualifications
- Significant experience leading marketing teams or functions within consumer products, retail, home, lifestyle, or a related environment
- Broad marketing leadership experience rather than expertise limited to a single channel or discipline
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including web, social, email, search, paid media, and analytics
- Experience developing marketing strategies that support both B2B customers and end consumers
- Ability to connect marketing strategy with sales, product, e-commerce, and broader commercial objectives
- Strong analytical orientation with the ability to establish KPIs, evaluate performance, and make informed investment decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and cross-functional execution capabilities
Environment
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone comfortable moving between strategy and execution. You'll operate across multiple audiences and channels, working closely with commercial and creative stakeholders while bringing greater structure, prioritization, and measurement to the marketing function. The role leads trade marketing, digital marketing, and copywriting while working alongside separate creative leadership.
Pay
