Marketing Director
About the role
The Director of Marketing will build and lead the marketing function that establishes Cadre as the most trusted and recognized AI transformation firm in the country. This is not a support role. You own brand strategy, thought leadership, demand generation, and community—and you work directly with our executive team to shape how the market understands AI implementation.
Responsibilities
Define the Brand and Own Positioning
Own messaging frameworks across audiences and verticals—Private Equity, Lending, B2B Services, and beyond
Position Cadre as the firm that actually delivers on AI transformation, not just talks about it
Drive Thought Leadership and Content
Own end-to-end content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters, long-form content, and video
Translate Cadre’s frameworks, client wins, and executive insights into high-impact content that moves the market
Set the vision and do the work
Execute Events, Webinars, and Experiences
Lead SDx Brand and Community Marketing
Own the Website and Digital Ecosystem
Lead website strategy, UX, messaging, and conversion optimization
Maintain landing pages, case studies, and lead capture mechanisms that convert
Support Executive Brand and Thought Leadership
Develop content frameworks and manage ghostwriting for executive thought leadership
Measure, Report, and Improve
Own marketing reporting across leads, pipeline, funnel conversion, social engagement, newsletter performance, events, and website metrics
Requirements
7+ years in B2B marketing, brand marketing, or demand generation—professional services, consulting, or high-growth tech preferred
Proven ability to build or scale a brand to market leadership, not just maintain one
Strong strategic thinker who also executes—you set the vision and then do the work yourself
Exceptional writer and storyteller with the ability to communicate to executive audiences clearly and compellingly
Experienced with marketing technology: HubSpot, Webflow, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and SEO tools
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage agencies, freelancers, and competing priorities without dropping the ball
Entrepreneurial mindset—you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and build structure where there isn’t any
Fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and others) as part of your daily workflow, not just curious about them
Qualifications
Track record of driving measurable pipeline contribution from content and inbound—you can point to specific numbers
Experience marketing AI, technology, or professional services to senior operators and executives
Build and manage a community or membership brand—understanding that audience trust is earned, not bought
Write well enough that executives want you to help them find their voice

Benefits
Base pay range: $90,000 – $115,000 per year
