Responsibilities
- Review and approve marketing materials, disclosures, and application flows for compliance with applicable regulations and partner bank requirements.
- Support new card program launches by ensuring required disclosures and regulatory elements are accurately incorporated.
- Partner with marketing, product, design, and operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical, customer-friendly guidance.
- Absorb and apply requirements under Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA, and related consumer protection laws.
- Maintain and update marketing compliance policies, procedures, and review checklists.
- Track and document marketing reviews to ensure audit-ready records and clear approval workflows.
- Escalate higher-risk or complex issues to senior compliance leadership with clear analysis and recommendations.
- Support partner bank reviews and respond to compliance-related inquiries as needed.
- Contribute to training and awareness efforts to promote compliant marketing practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 years of experience in compliance, legal, risk, or a related function within banking, fintech, or financial services.
- Working knowledge of consumer protection and marketing-related regulations (e.g., Regulation Z, Regulation B, UDAAP, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, FCRA).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review customer-facing content through a regulatory lens.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide practical, solutions-oriented feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams.
- Comfort using AI tools to work more efficiently and expand review coverage.
- Proven ability to operate independently, without a defined playbook or daily check-ins.
