About the role
R&R Insurance Services is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to support our Commercial Lines practice in Waukesha. This role blends campaign strategy, digital communications, content development, branding, and sales support, while helping strengthen the R&R brand across the agency.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and execute marketing campaigns and communications, including CRM initiatives, producer communications, seminar invitations, direct mail, and sales collateral
- Support Commercial Sales Executives and business development efforts through targeted campaigns, prospect engagement initiatives, and sales enablement strategies
- Manage proposal and RFP response processes, including content libraries, presentations, marketing materials, and sales resources
- Maintain CRM data, track campaign performance metrics, and support producers in optimizing CRM tools and prospecting workflows
- Create and deploy external communication campaigns, including newsletters, email marketing, event promotions, and sales outreach initiatives
- Support website content updates, blog management, and SEO-focused initiatives
- Develop social media content and marketing materials aligned with the R&R brand
- Produce, edit, and publish video and multimedia content
- Write and proofread marketing copy for emails, articles, presentations, proposals, and promotional materials
- Coordinate sales promotions, trade shows, client events, and special events
- Partner with Commercial Lines and Corporate Marketing teams on agency-wide initiatives, brand awareness efforts, and strategic communication projects
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional marketing, communications, business development, or sales support experience; Commercial Lines insurance agency or brokerage experience highly preferred
- Understanding of commercial insurance products, brokerage operations, and sales processes preferred
- Experience with CRM platforms, CMS tools, email marketing systems, and Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Knowledge of SEO, email campaigns, social media strategy, and digital engagement best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished, professional content
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proofreading, editing, and project coordination skills
