Marketing Communications Specialist
About the role
The Marketing Communications Specialist will assist in executing a variety of marketing projects from development through completion, maintaining accurate project records, and coordinating project completion with various departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop a timeline and budget.
- Research product and industry data.
- Provide direction to editorial and/or design.
- Cook up and manage the project management and production of marketing materials, presentations, and other content.
- Direct sales and marketing support (data requests).
- Routinely proofread all project team pieces for accuracy.
- Coordinate/interpret compliance changes.
- Interface with other Federated Hermes departments (Administration, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Funds Financial, Design, Shareholder Communications, Product Development, Business Managers, Salesforce, etc.) to coordinate project completion.
- Prepare reports that analyze program results.
- Contribute ideas during meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Update monthly, quarterly, and annual literature.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, or journalism required; other degree with relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience with Adobe, MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
- One year of experience in marketing communications preferred.
- Basic understanding of and interest in the financial markets and investment products preferred.
