Responsibilities

  • Leads property social media content collection, producing, editing, and distributing across multiple platforms.
  • Generates content that builds meaningful connections between the brand and guests.
  • Collaborates with other departments and key players to produce and execute content.
  • Uses social media tools like Sprout Social, CapCut, and Canva.
  • Moderates social media pages in line with Caesars Entertainment’s expectations and policies.
  • Creates and executes public relations campaigns to generate positive coverage for Caesars Virginia.
  • Coordinates and leads familiarization visits from media professionals.
  • Responds promptly and professionally to incoming requests for photography, video, and resort information.
  • Assists the General Manager and other leaders in responding to media inquiries and addressing emergencies.
  • Travels to media outlets in target markets to pitch story ideas and generate media coverage.
  • Manages and grows an up-to-date list of travel media professionals, bloggers, and other influential contacts.
  • Manages the organization's official media kit, including both in-print and online materials.
  • Maintains regular positive contact with members of the local media, tourism organizations, community leaders, and other influential organizations.
  • Assists the marketing department with copywriting, advertorial content, and proofing.
  • Assists with a variety of internal communication pieces as needed, including writing and editing company newsletters, memos, and email announcements.
  • Thinks quickly and communicates clearly in high-pressure and quick-changing situations.
  • Stays up to date with social media best practices, trends, and algorithm changes.
  • Executes research related to social media platform updates; identifies key findings and presents recommendations.
  • Delivers work on or before deadline.
  • Covers events and activations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Previous casino experience a plus.
  • Candidate should be self-motivated; detail oriented and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written skills with the ability to adapt and represent a variety of brand voices.
  • Other desired skills include time management skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing online communities and/or platforms for brands.
  • Adobe Photoshop and Canva experience is a plus.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 per year
