About the role
Reporting to the Director, Multichannel Marketing, this position serves as a principal resource to provide database marketing support to include list development, lead management, list brokering, analysis and reporting. Provides marketing campaign support for list segmentation, lead nurturing, lead management, analysis, and reporting. Contributes to the efforts focused on development of an integrated data strategy for optimum database marketing efforts aligned to overall campaign effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Builds campaign logic to support complex list segmentation projects using SAS Marketing Automation (Customer Intelligence Suite).
- Plays an essential role in the efforts of building and maintaining comprehensive campaign reporting, tracking through customized reports and dashboards.
- Provides support for data analysis based projects such as customer segmentation, attrition modeling, customer lifetime value, etc.
- Researches, processes and stages customers and prospects into Siebel sales force automation tool with a high level of accuracy.
- Provides superior customer service to our internal clients and external suppliers.
- Provides project leadership and management in support of marketing support requests.
- Serves as resource to staff and management to provide general direction and structure to implement activities associated with related projects and business initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
- 3-5 years of experience in an industry, market, technology, or business initiative related to marketing or sales/customer support.
- Health Insurance industry experience a definite plus.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with analytics and data mining in a professional (non-educational) environment.
- Direct or database marketing experience in both a business to business and business to consumer environment.
Skills
- Knowledge of other database marketing technologies and Email Service providers such as ExactTarget.
- SAS Programming experience.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Litmus.
- High-level knowledge of the following SAS applications:
- SAS Enterprise Guide (Mandatory)
- SAS Enterprise Miner (Optional)
- SAS Customer Intelligence Suite (or IBM Unica, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar Marketing CRM solution)
- Good negotiation, facilitation, and customer service skills.
- Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize and manage projects.
- Ability to relate technical concepts to applications and user needs.
