About the role
The Marketing Assistant is highly organized, creative, adaptable, and proactive and supports the successful execution of projects and assets for the Marketing Department. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director.
Responsibilities
- Develops and coordinates content for social media, including monitoring reach and engagement metrics; prepares reports to inform strategy and optimize ROI
- Assists in designing flyers, PDFs, ads, and other marketing assets as assigned
- Maintains brand consistency across all marketing materials and communications in alignment with brand guidelines
- Collaborates with internal teams and external partners to align marketing efforts with organizational goals
- Serves as a functional team member contributing to data management and event coordination
- Participates in professional development, not less than 12 hours per year
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Able to react to change productively and handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Graphic Design, or similar and/or 1–2 years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, or Sales
- Beginner to intermediate skill in Google Suite, especially spreadsheets
- Beginner to intermediate skill in Canva and Adobe products, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, or willingness to learn
- Willing to learn and work daily in Jira and HubSpot
- Ability to use Google Meet and Zoom applications
Physical Demands
- Required to talk, hear, and see
- Work primarily done via computer; requires typing experience and comfort with various operating systems, software programs, and user interfaces
- At times, requires standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crawling, kneeling, ascending and descending stairs
- Must reach with arms and hands, and use hands and fingers to feel, handle, and manipulate keyboard keys
- Must lift up to 20 lbs
- Company travel may be required by car, plane, or other means of transportation
