Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Part-Time (3 days a week) Marketing Assistant to support outreach and brand engagement for a non-profit organization in Newtown, PA. This Contract ONLY position offers the opportunity to contribute to campaigns that strengthen community awareness, promote events, and expand audience connection across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will bring strong coordination skills, creativity, and attention to detail while helping execute day-to-day marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver email marketing initiatives that promote programs, events, and organizational updates to target audiences.
• Assist with planning and on-site support for events, ensuring promotional materials, schedules, and communications are prepared in advance.
• Contribute to a range of marketing efforts by helping develop content, organize assets, and track campaign activities.
• Support direct outreach campaigns designed to increase engagement, drive participation, and strengthen community relationships.
• Manage social media posting schedules and help create compelling content that reflects the organization’s mission and voice.
• Monitor marketing timelines and collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule.

Requirements

• Experience supporting email campaigns, including content coordination, scheduling, and distribution.
• Ability to assist with event logistics and promotional execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with general marketing activities across digital and traditional channels.
• Knowledge of direct marketing campaign support and audience engagement practices.
• Experience using social media platforms for business or organizational communication.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
