Marketing Assistant

Hourly position; pay pending experience.

About the role

The Marketing Assistant plays a key role in strengthening the bank’s presence and relationships across the local community. This position is highly visible and hands-on, working closely with branch staff, business development, area executives, and the Marketing Director to ensure the bank remains an active, trusted partner in the communities it serves.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial education programs
• Manage sponsorships and donations
• Support volunteer efforts
• Plan community events
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED

Qualifications

• Experience in community relations, banking, nonprofit work, or event coordination
• Familiarity with local communities or prior experience working in a local market strongly preferred

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working independently and wearing multiple hats
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Event coordination skills
• Ability to connect with a wide range of audiences in a relatable, approachable way
• Practical understanding of financial concepts (or ability to learn and teach them)
