Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities
- Social media management: Content scheduling, publishing, and engagement tracking
- Campaign coordination: Events, internal campaigns, announcements, and brand communications
- Content creation: Graphics, presentations, written copy, and short-form video
- Content organization: Digital asset libraries, templates, graphics, and documentation
- Content tracking: Campaign timelines and deliverables
- Collaboration: Gather information and highlight company initiatives, milestones, and activities
- Administrative support: Ensure timely and effective execution of marketing projects
Requirements
- Education: Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Relevant internship, academic, or project-based experience may be considered in lieu of professional experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or freelance work showcasing marketing or creative capabilities.
- Portfolio: Portfolio or work samples required demonstrating creative and marketing abilities (e.g., graphic design, campaigns, written content, video).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools. Familiarity with major social media platforms and content publishing tools. Experience with Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms, or analytics tools is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks. Attention to detail with a focus on brand consistency and quality.
Qualifications
- Basic content writing and copywriting skills preferred.
Benefits
This is a part-time role with the opportunity to transition to full-time after a 90-day period based on performance and organizational needs. Occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. Extended computer use and collaboration with internal teams is expected. Travel up to 10% may be required for events, meetings, or marketing coordination activities.
Pay
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The role is on-site in San Antonio, Texas, with telework available at management discretion.
