Marketing Assistant
About the role
Support marketing team members and collaborate with teams within the marketing department to improve and unify marketing processes and procedures. Work with other marketing departments on special projects, promote branding best practices, and maintain, write, create, and organize marketing materials including project sheets, resumes, project lists, and related collateral.
Responsibilities
- Support the project team throughout the proposal process including research and development, production, and delivery
- Complete and update prequalification documents, vendor forms, and safety information requests
- Assist with identifying, tracking, and coordinating conferences, event planning, industry, and award opportunities
- Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategy, delivering content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail
- Conduct market research to keep up with changing demographics and other relevant issues to assist with evaluating marketing and communication activities
- Assist with maintaining and updating databases
- Perform additional research, administrative tasks, and special projects as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or similar preferred
- 1 year of sales or marketing experience preferred
- Experience in marketing or design in the fields of architecture, engineering, and/or construction is a plus
