Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, design, and schedule engaging content for all organizational social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create platform-native content including short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Stories), static graphics, carousels, and live event coverage.
  • Maintain and segment the subscriber database to ensure targeted, relevant communication to fans, suite holders, sponsors, and corporate clients.
  • Write compelling email copy for event announcements, presale notifications, on-sale alerts, newsletters, and post-event recaps.
  • Prepare and distribute marketing assets across all channels simultaneously for coordinated announce and on-sale launches.
  • Attend and provide real-time social media coverage for concerts, sporting events, shows, conventions, trade shows, and private events hosted at the complex.
  • Capture photo and video content at events for use across social media, email marketing, and the website; coordinate with contracted photographers and videographers as needed.
  • Staff the marketing table or fan activation areas at select events, distributing promotional materials and engaging with patrons.
  • Support the execution of paid digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, Spotify, and other platforms in coordination with the Corporate Marketing or agency partners.
  • Absorb and fulfill social media contractual obligations by coordinating with artists, promoters, and touring marketing teams.
  • Support media relations by distributing press releases and maintaining press contact lists.
  • Solicit venue sponsorships, group sales, and special event opportunities through proactive outreach and ongoing relationship management with local businesses and community organizations.
  • Conduct cold calls, receive and follow up on referrals, and maintain consistent communication with all existing clients; actively identify opportunities to upsell current partners on additional inventory or upgraded packages.
  • Create and distribute a Return on Investment (ROI) Report for all venue sponsors following the conclusion of each sponsorship term, summarizing delivered impressions, activations, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database and tracking system of all current and prospective sponsors, organized to include: Client name and primary contact information, Sponsor deliverables and contracted assets, Contract term end dates and renewal deadlines, Payment schedules, amounts received, and outstanding invoice dates, Notes on upsell opportunities and client communication history.
  • Ensure all fully executed copies of sponsorship and advertising contracts are uploaded to the designated shared drive and that a hard copy is retained in the master contract file.
  • Provide weekly updates on sponsorship pipeline status, group sales activity, and special event opportunities to the Sales and Marketing Manager and General Manager.
  • Coordinate with operations, box office, and event staff to ensure all sponsor deliverables — including signage, announcements, activations, and complimentary tickets — are fulfilled as contracted.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field required.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, digital media, or communications; experience in live entertainment, sports, hospitality, or venue management strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and email marketing campaigns in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools such as Sprout Social.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or Canva for content creation.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster, AXS) and presale/on-sale workflows a significant plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong editorial eye.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for design, storytelling, and audience engagement.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all published materials.
  • Self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Availability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for live entertainment, sports, and the fan experience.
