About the role
The Marketing and Communications Advertising Assistant supports the regional and online campus expansion plan by liaising with outside advertising vendors and the Operations and Integrated Marketing team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate advertisement opportunities with internal resources
- Pace reports for undergraduate and graduate programs to support strategic marketing efforts
- Coordinate insertion orders
- Handle paperwork for purchase orders and check requests
- Document in the project management system
- Hand off final deliverables to the vendor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in progress in communications and marketing
- Open to considering majors from other fields
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, Google Apps, and similar cloud-based platforms
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strategic and analytical thinker; ability to adapt in dynamic environment
- Strong customer service-oriented skills; action-oriented; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills; positive collegial attitude; high level of professionalism; and ability to work collaboratively in a close team environment
Qualifications
Must be a current University of La Verne student
