Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends, customer activity, sales performance, and competitive data to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage point-of-sale reporting to support vendor relationships, collaborating with sales and product management to highlight actionable analysis of product trends.
- Support product lifecycle analysis, including product performance, market positioning, and growth opportunities.
- Affiliate in pricing analysis, margin reviews, and profitability evaluations to support marketing initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators and marketing goals.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to leadership.
- Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions.
- Experience working with databases and large data sets.
- Experience with business intelligence and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing Analytics, or a related field OR 3+ years of experience in business analytics or data management.
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- High level of proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
