Responsibilities
- Audit fees, hours, and third-party expenses
- Build dashboards, scorecards, and portfolio and spend reporting
- Build productive relationships with both agency and internal partners
- Coordinate business reviews, scorecards, and KPIs
- Design compensation and incentives that reward business priorities
- Help agencies and business teams work through performance issues to resolution
- Help define clear, outcome-oriented scopes
- Help surface misalignment early and support the team in resolving it
- Help the team in resolving day-to-day challenges
- Keep reporting accurate and trustworthy
- Manage scope changes and track contract requests through to completion
- Partner across Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and agency teams
- Prepare clear, executive-ready reports and presentations on agency strategy, performance, investment, and governance
- Support the rollout of new agency management routines, governance, and tools
- Track agency budgets, forecasts, and spend against targets
- Turn data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership
Qualifications
- Experience working with marketing agencies, media agencies, or large vendor ecosystems, ideally within a holding-company structure
- Familiarity with agency operating models, Scope of Work development, or contract management
- Familiarity with agency compensation and fee models, including incentive design
- Experience supporting cross-functional work involving multiple stakeholders and external partners
- Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data, spot trends, and turn them into actionable recommendations
- Strong written, verbal, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to communicate well with both internal stakeholders and external agency partners
- Strong relationship, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, and comfort staying neutral when interests conflict
- Comfort navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to help shape a growing function
