Responsibilities
- Responsible for fostering a fun environment
- Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
- Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to promotions staff/function in the Marketing department
- Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction
- Develop, coordinate, and execute all retail promotions, direct mail promotions, and special events to target retail and database customers while supporting compliance to departmental budget
- Review and approve all Elite Bonus Suite (EBS) and Micro Gaming Technologies (MGT/Everi) promotions
- Draft all Promotional Guidelines and Checklists
- Support the efforts and projects of the VP of Marketing and/or Director of Marketing as requested
- Coordinate internal support related to each special event, promotion, or entertainment for all appropriate departments
- Analyze the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, and entertainment and VIP parties
- Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs
- Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
- Consult with vendors to improve customer service and reduce problems in the environment
- Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter
- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associates Degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance, or related area; or equivalent experience of two years of administrative or special events/promotions experience required, preferably in Marketing
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive toward results
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Able to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
- Able to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
Qualifications
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces
