Market Trainer

As a Market Trainer, you bring learning to life in the field by delivering hands-on training, reinforcing best practices, and coaching teams to execute with excellence. You serve as the bridge between capability strategy and frontline performance, ensuring every RTM and Merchandiser is confident, capable, and ready to win in the markets.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate company training initiatives, ensuring all sessions are delivered in a high-quality, engaging, and consistent manner
- Champion and leverage Mondelēz Training and Capability Programs to drive employee development and performance; bridge gaps in capability levels across the Market
- Act as a subject matter expert on Mondelēz Capabilities processes, training programs, and learning resources; support the development of a high-performing culture across the Market
- Deliver consistent, high-quality training to newly hired employees in a timely manner; track and report training effectiveness and performance results to the Region Capabilities Lead
- Collaborate with the Region Capabilities Lead and Market Analyst to implement on-the-job training aligned with market priorities and business goals
- Conduct field-based coaching in selling skills, merchandising excellence, and order writing to reinforce learning and drive execution
- Identify skill gaps and tailor training approaches to meet individual and team needs and support the rollout of new tools, processes, and capability initiatives
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and growth in the market
- Work closely with the RTMs to ensure New Hire onboarding processes are followed to provide appropriate support during the learning period
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 3+ years in training, field leadership, or retail operations
- Travel within dedicated market is 40-60% (up to 3 days in field/week)
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills
- Experience in retail or consumer goods preferred
- Ability to travel across assigned markets

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $85,400 - $117,425. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, as well as eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program.
