Market Research Manager

About the role

The Market Research Manager role at Yamaha, based in Marietta, GA, involves performing professional-level market research and data analysis to develop insights, recommendations, and reporting that support product planning, customer experience initiatives, marketing effectiveness, and Marine Business Unit strategy. The position independently manages defined research activities and recurring reporting processes while partnering with internal stakeholders, senior team members, and external vendors on more complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs professional-level market research and data analysis to develop insights, recommendations, and reporting that support product planning, customer experience initiatives, marketing effectiveness, and Marine Business Unit strategy.
• Independently manages defined research activities and recurring reporting processes.
• Partners with internal stakeholders, senior team members, and external vendors on more complex projects.

Requirements

• Experience in market research and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and market research software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in market research and/or data analysis.
• Experience working with external vendors and partners.
