Market President Producer I or II

About the Role
Responsible for the overall performance of a defined market, including achievement of client service quality, balance sheet quality, profitability, growth, and risk management. Drives a consistent client experience positioning Truist as the Premier Advisory Bank in the Commercial segment ($25–$250MM in annual sales) within the local market. Integrates all banking functions, including line of business (LOB) partners, Commercial Credit, and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a focused marketing plan to grow new relationships and expand existing client relationships.
- Meet loan, deposit, and fee-based revenue expectations.
- Deliver a differentiated client experience in all interactions with clients, prospects, and centers of influence using Financial Insights and other strategic advisory tools.
- Develop new business client relationships and improve market share of business loans and non-credit services, including deposits.
- Execute Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) with extensive inclusion of IRM partners in sales meetings, call planning, joint calling, and development and delivery of custom solutions.
- Assume responsibility for the profitability, quality, liquidity, and growth of assigned commercial loan portfolios by ensuring servicing of all client credit relationships, including credit proposal write-ups, file documentation, legal documentation, compliance, and loan closings.
- Identify potential portfolio weaknesses and manage problem/delinquent credit relationships.
- Ensure adequate data integrity and risk management.
- Interpret and ensure communication of and adherence to the Bank’s policies, programs, and objectives.
- Lead and coordinate the community advisory board and activities.
- Participate in civic, government, professional, business, and community affairs to solicit new business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
- Ten years of banking experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent English required.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit, including underwriting, loan structuring, and pricing to effectively advocate for clients.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
- Ability to provide leadership and handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
Pay
Annual base salary: $175,000–$200,000. Additional incentive pay available.
