Job Summary

United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is part of this company, operating ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals. The Market President for the Central/Southwest Texas & Colorado Market will be based in either San Antonio or Austin, TX.
Responsibilities
- Quality
- Demonstrate dedication to high-quality clinical care and patient satisfaction
- Utilize USPI’s EDGE™ for quality goals and objectives
- Advocate for USPI’s EDGE™ and hold market segments accountable
- Report quality measure performance data to health system partners
- React to USPI’s EDGE™ event reports
- Oversee and hold facilities accountable for maintaining or acquiring accreditation
- Use Patient Satisfaction surveys for ongoing improvement
- Growth
- Develop and implement the annual strategic plan with health system partners
- Communicate and implement the strategic plan through leadership teams
- Maintain and oversee growth and sales plans for facilities and the market
- Support new center development or acquisition transitions
- Leadership
- Inspire confidence through effective communication and strategic alignment
- Maintain focus on organizational development and succession planning
- Empower team to make decisions and create a climate for excellence
- Use Physician and Employee Satisfaction surveys for ongoing improvement
- Operations
- Attend facility level Board Meetings and Health System Meetings
- Ensure USPI’s EDGE™ is fully deployed and leads the effort to establish it as a cornerstone for operational and financial processes
- Coordinate USPI resources as needed to achieve goals
- Financial Performance
- Superior financial and analytical skills
- Develop and oversee the annual Market budget
- Accountable for financial performance of the Market
- Report key drivers and trends in performance
- Communication
- Facilitate communications between health system partners, physicians, and USPI
- Communicate with all partners consistently and effectively
- Host Market Operations meetings with management team
- Attend USPI management meetings
- Build strong relationships with physician and/or health care systems
Qualifications
- Healthcare background
- OR Operations leadership experience
- Minimum ten years of experience in a top administrative or management position in the ASC industry
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, Master's degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with healthcare partners, physicians, employees, patients, and others
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts for financial budgeting, reporting, and analysis
- Candidate must reside within their market and be willing to relocate
