About the role

Carvana's Market Operation department is looking for a team leader to manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork, customer and employee experience, community outreach, and mentoring/training programs. This position offers the chance to work at a rapidly growing tech company and develop a world-class team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork, customer experience, employee experience, community outreach, and mentoring/training programs.
  • Handle ambiguity gracefully and make interactions rewarding for all involved.
  • Examine processes and develop creative solutions.
  • Work autonomously with good decision-making skills.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Roll up your sleeves and take on new assignments.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least five years of relevant team leadership experience.
  • Experience handling logistics.
  • An ability to operate in ambiguity.
  • An appreciation for differences of opinion.
  • The skills to examine processes and develop creative solutions.
  • An understanding that things will change.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, take on new assignments, and juggle many things at once.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours).
  • Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
  • Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving requires excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
  • Requires to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Must be able to stay in stationary positions for extended periods of time (when driving) up to 3 hours at a time.
  • Frequently communicates with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information.
