About the role
Carvana's Market Operation department is looking for a team leader to manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork, customer and employee experience, community outreach, and mentoring/training programs. - Handle ambiguity gracefully and make interactions rewarding for all involved.
- Examine processes and develop creative solutions.
- Work autonomously with good decision-making skills.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
- Roll up your sleeves and take on new assignments.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least five years of relevant team leadership experience.
- Experience handling logistics.
- An ability to operate in ambiguity.
- An appreciation for differences of opinion.
- The skills to examine processes and develop creative solutions.
- An understanding that things will change.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, take on new assignments, and juggle many things at once.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours).
- Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
- Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent driving requires excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
- Requires to work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be able to stay in stationary positions for extended periods of time (when driving) up to 3 hours at a time.
- Frequently communicates with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information.
