Market Operations Manager

About the role

Carvana's Market Operation department is looking for a team leader to manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork, customer and employee experience, community outreach, and mentoring/training programs. Responsibilities

• Manage logistics and inventory quality
• Schedule and handle registration paperwork
• Maintain customer and employee experience
• Develop and implement mentoring and training programs
• Assume additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• At least five years of relevant team leadership experience
• Experience with logistics management
• Ability to operate in ambiguous situations gracefully
• A strong appreciation for diverse perspectives
• The ability to examine processes and develop creative solutions
• An understanding that changes are expected and necessary
• A willingness to take on new tasks and multitask effectively

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Capable of walking/standing and sustaining physical activity for extended periods
• High and low-level movement capabilities, reaching, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting
• Grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling items up to 50 lbs
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Work in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to stay in stationary positions for extended periods (when driving)
• Frequent communication with customers
