About the role

Market of Choice is hiring for a Chef position, starting at $19.00/hour up to $24.00/hour based on experience, with growth opportunity up to $28.00/hour. Market of Choice is a growing, local company with excellent benefits and opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Kitchen Manager in daily activities and supervising salad, soup and other cases
• Consulting with the Kitchen Manager on a daily basis to ensure that timing of orders and production schedules are coordinated
• Assisting the Kitchen Manager with maintaining inventory of fresh products and schedule writing
• Working closely with the Meat, Seafood, Produce and Grocery departments
• Training and evaluating employees (as needed)
• Maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors and employees

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in this field
• Previous management experience
• Open availability
• Long-term commitment to growing with Market of Choice
• Must be 18 years or older
