Market Manager of Facilities Safety

Want to join a team of daring managers who care without reservations or limits? Our Surgery Ventures Group team is looking for a Market Manager of Facilities Safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee designated ASCs grounds and equipment, including planning, monitoring, evaluating and documenting all related activities to comply with Life Safety Codes and AAAHC/Joint Commission standards.
• Manage construction projects and identify maintenance and renovation needs of surgery centers.
• Ensure timely completion of emergency and non-emergency work order repairs, preventive maintenance, construction, electrical and work orders.
• Participate in Surgery Ventures Group initiatives and/or workgroups as assigned.
• Oversee and handle all facility grounds and equipment activities for all assigned surgery centers.
• Conduct inspections of generators and fire mitigation systems.
• Support successful daily operation of Surgery Center operating systems including boilers, chemicals, chillers, cooling towers, environmental controls, generators, HVAC, medical gases, pumps, and utilities services.
• Ensure fire alarm systems are tested as designated by code and repairs are completed timely as necessary.
• Coordinate and evaluate repair activities of service vendors.
• Provide oversight related to renovations in partnership with colleagues.
• Delegate jobs in a timely and appropriate manner; assuring all required repairs, installations or modifications are carried out.
• Prepare and conduct in-service programs for Surgery Center personnel as needed.
• Keep abreast of new developments in maintenance procedures and resource saving ideas, methods and equipment.
• Maintain a program for preventive maintenance and quality assurance on mechanical and non-bio-medical equipment.
• Provide consultation to surgery center leadership to ensure Surgery Centers are clean, well maintained, and safe, as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Five-year experience in a healthcare facility operations and maintenance environment.
• One year experience with life safety and hazardous materials programs in a hospital or healthcare related facility or equivalent experience in industry or military.
