Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement
  • Build systems and processes that support rapid operational growth
  • Develop operational playbooks, SOPs, escalation frameworks, and performance standards
  • Drive operational consistency while balancing local market flexibility
  • Fleet Growth & Management
    • Own all financial and operational metrics to ensure optimal revenue and profit maximization
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring
    • Manage vehicle maintenance and repair programs to ensure optimal fleet utilization and safety
    • Partner with the Growth team to develop and execute strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base
  • Financial Performance
    • Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in profitability and operational efficiency
    • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to maximize fleet profitability
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards achieving business goals
  • Driver Support & Training
    • Provide ongoing support and training to drivers on industry best practices, safety regulations, and customer service
    • Foster a positive and supportive environment for all employees
  • Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
    • Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary corrective actions

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience managing operations, building and developing teams, optimizing processes, and delivering business goals
    • 2+ years of people management experience, high EQ, and proven ability to deliver outstanding results through others in a timely manner using a strong sense of focus, organization, and meticulous attention to detail
    • Goal focus with a strong bias toward action
    • Entrepreneurial hustle and proven self-starter with owner’s mentality; some entrepreneurial experience is preferred
    • Data-driven mindset, strong business judgment, and proven ability to perform analysis, draw key insights, and form and execute a strategy
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, influence stakeholders, and inspire others
    • Excellent organization and time management
    • Willingness to get your hands dirty, lead by example, and motivate teams both through in-person and remote management
    • BA/BS with an impressive academic record
    • MBA or advanced degree is a strong plus
    • Experience with ridesharing platforms (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus
