Market Manager
About the role
The Market Manager will develop and maintain profitable lending relationships with dealer partners via regular in-person visits and direct forms of communication (phone, email, text). This position will grow the business by demonstrating value to all Dealer Management, which requires thorough knowledge of program capabilities and ability to learn industry specifics quickly while meeting sales goals and role requirements.
Note: This position is advertised externally as Market Manager, but internally it is classified as Regional Development Specialist for organizational purposes only.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing client dealer relationships.
- Develop/Execute a prospecting strategy to grow additional dealers to existing portfolio.
- Demonstrate the value and benefits of ACA’s Point of Sale (POS) program.
- Properly explain the loan documentation process for the dealer.
- Maintain and present a professional image both via telephone and in-person.
- Quickly identify negative trends or potential issues within the loan application process and know when to escalate.
- Stay abreast of competitive intelligence, understand competitor program strength/weaknesses and effectiveness, and solicit client dealer feedback.
- Remain flexible to adapt to changes quickly based on business/territory needs.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to quickly assess dealer needs, identify issues, and be able to provide collaborative solutions.
- Must have the ability to solve problems, digest and apply information, learn new skills, and think critically.
- Excellent time management skills, highly energetic, and self-motivated.
- Ability to clearly communicate and sell program features and benefits.
- Comfortability presenting information both over the phone and in-person.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
- Proficient computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 1+ years of sales and finance experience.
Work Environment
In most cases, an in-home office must be maintained. This role routinely uses appropriate and required office and personal communications technology, which will be provided including laptop and company cell phone.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday.
This position will require regular travel throughout assigned territory. Must be able to make travel arrangements (via auto and air), be able to drive, and walk around the dealership if needed.
Pay
The full-time salary range for this position is anticipated to be $47,500.00 - $52,500.00.
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic performance incentive plan. Employees are eligible for pay incentives as detailed by the specific line of business incentive plan provisions.
