Market Manager

About the role

Carbliss is a brand of SNFood & Beverage, a family-owned and operated Ready to Drink Cocktail company focused on quality, excellence, and innovation. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Market Manager to lead and grow our presence in Southwest Wisconsin, driving distribution, sales, and brand engagement.

Responsibilities

• 90% in-market position creating and growing accounts, 10% office and administrative
• Secure and expand distribution in assigned account base
• Overcome objections, ask for the sale, and submit accurate orders
• Recognize, respond, and communicate sales opportunities and threats
• Pre-plan sales, territory, and account-specific objectives toward sales quotas and distributions
• Maintain weekly pre-plan for assigned territory
• Adhere to federal, state, and company regulations governing the industry
• Follow up on customer issues and concerns; follow through on commitments
• Create, maintain, and update master sales route lists with buyer information and call times
• Maintain a sales and display kit with pricing, sell sheets, samples, and POS materials
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with on- and off-premise accounts
• Assist customers with new product placement, promotions, and sales trends
• Meet/exceed assigned monthly quotas and placement objectives
• Participate in sales meetings and on/off-site training
• Communicate respectfully with inter-company departments, distribution partners, and customers
• Monitor inventory to maintain proper stock based on sales trends, promotions, and seasonal changes
• Utilize POS materials, build displays, and merchandise shelves
• Plan and execute product samplings (minimum of 2 per week) in on- and off-premise accounts
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management Tool (HubSpot)
• Flexibility in hours including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
• Adaptability to assist internal customer groups and varying personality types

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of sales experience in a related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier, or beverage industry) preferred
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and satisfactory driving record required
• Strong knowledge of the liquor industry and its retail consumers preferred
