Market Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expediently.
• Remain at the ready for emergency maintenance needs, emergency flood situations, and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs in the building to things like doors, locks, tiles, and handrails.
• Monitor and work closely with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain paperwork and invoices related to your work.
• Perform routine cosmetic updates such as painting, changing screens, and replacing windows.
• Handle appliance maintenance, smoke detector installations, and light fixture removals.

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of the equipment needed to make repairs on the property, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Passion for fixing things and improving spaces for inhabitants.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and lend a helping hand.
• Strong skills in identifying and solving safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. On-call rotation required.

Pay

Position pay range $26.75 - $32 USD.
