About the Role
The Market Growth Manager supports the execution of Weaver’s business development priorities by helping market leaders, practice leaders and key stakeholders to drive specific market growth priorities, relationship development and expansion, and new business opportunities. This role is responsible for managing business development activities across assigned markets, coordinating relationship-building efforts, and helping to establish scalable processes and performance measures that foster a culture of excellence in business development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related business discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in business development, sales operations or client development, ideally within professional services
- Strong understanding of client relationship management and sales pipeline management
- Ability to build credibility with partners and stakeholders to support the execution of growth strategies
- Experience supporting and/or improving business development, account management and go-to-market processes, tools and reporting
- Excellent project management, organization and communication skills
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions, summarize next steps and communicate clearly to executive stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing pursuit timelines and multiple concurrent leads with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and social platforms (especially LinkedIn)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret lead reporting, relationship data and business development metrics from multiple data sources
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence without authority, coordinate across stakeholders and encourage consistent business development practices
