Market Director, Commercial Lines (Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Market Director, Commercial Lines to lead our Commercial Lines division. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the Commercial Lines service and marketing teams while providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and performance leadership across the department.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 10+ years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required
• Previous experience leading Commercial Lines service and/or marketing teams within an independent insurance agency
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting principles, carrier markets, and placement strategies
• Demonstrated success leading teams, improving operational performance, and developing employees
• Experience with agency management systems, carrier portals, and Microsoft Office Suite; Applied Epic experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
• Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, ARM, or similar are preferred

Pay Range

$180,000 - $190,000 per year depending on experience. A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law.
