Market Development Specialist -Entry-Level Outside Sales Rep

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a full-time Market Development Specialist and build your future in outside sales. In this role, you'll explore your assigned territory—on foot or by car—introducing local businesses to W.B. Mason’s full range of workplace products and services. With a consultative approach, you'll meet potential clients, uncover their needs, and demonstrate how our offerings can simplify their operations. You'll provide product demos, share web tools, offer custom pricing, and assist new customers through MasonvilleGO. Collaborating closely with inside sales and onboarding teams, you'll ensure smooth transitions for every new account while growing your market and career.

Responsibilities

• Hit the road to engage with local businesses in your assigned territory.
• Introduce potential clients to W.B. Mason’s products and services using flyers and consultative sales techniques.
• Uncover client needs and demonstrate how our solutions can address them.
• Provide product demos, share web tools, and offer custom pricing.
• Assist new customers in setting up accounts via MasonvilleGO.
• Collaborate with inside sales and onboarding teams to ensure seamless transitions for new accounts.
• Participate in regular branch sales meetings for support and connection.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related field.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in conversing, reading, and writing in English.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
