Market Development Manager (Charlotte, NC) - National General
National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, offers home, auto, accident, health, and specialty niche insurance products through independent agents and direct-to-consumer channels.
About the role
This position owns local marketing activities for a designated geography, including planning, executing, and tracking marketing events, promotions, and business-driving initiatives. The role also involves marketing daily to local dealerships and business partners to build marketplace presence and drive new business growth.
Hybrid role based in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must live in the Charlotte area due to weekly commute requirements.
Responsibilities
- Call on local dealerships and business partners to build relationships and increase referrals.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership to plan local marketing strategy and outside marketing activities.
- Produce monthly marketing newsletters by collecting information throughout each month.
- Manage local social media pages in coordination with the marketing team.
- Track event results and maintain a list of high-ROI events.
- Proactively sell the Affinity program to local businesses within the assigned region and monitor account activity for desired results.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- 3 or more years of relevant experience (Preferred).
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above.

Pay
Annual base pay: $60,000.00.
