Market Development Lead
About the role
maybe for introductory paragraph and "How You Will Make History Here...". Could also include "Why Campbell’s…" but that's part of benefits? Actually "Why Campbell’s…" is a heading in original but we should not repeat job title as heading; we can use About the role. Responsibilities: "What You Will Do…" with bullet points. Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: "What You Will Bring To The Table…" includes Must Have and Nice to Have. Could split into Requirements (must have) and Skills (nice to have) but we can combine into Qualifications. We need to use- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we need to turn those into lists. We must not include boilerplate like EEO, disclaimer, etc. Also remove duplicated lines. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep all details. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. Let's extract content. Intro paragraph: "Since 1869, we've connected people through food they love. We’re proud to be stewards of amazing brands that people trust. Our portfolio includes the iconic Campbell’s brand, as well as Cape Cod, Chunky, Goldfish, Kettle Brand, Lance, Late July, Pacific Foods, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Pace, Rao’s Homemade, Snack Factory, Snyder’s of Hanover. Swanson, and V8. Here, you will make a difference every day. You will be supported to build a rewarding career with opportunities to grow, innovate and inspire. Make history with us." That's about the company; could be part of About the role. Then "Why Campbell’s… Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, short and long-term disability, AD&D, and life insurance (for individual, families, and domestic partners).Employees are eligible for our matching 401(k) plan and can enroll on the first day of employment with immediate vesting.Campbell’s offers unlimited sick time along with paid time off and holiday pay.If in WHQ – free access to the fitness center. Our “Campbell’s Cares” program matches employee donations and/or volunteer activity up to $1,500 annually.Campbell’s has a variety of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support employees." That's benefits. Then "How You Will Make History Here… The Market Development Lead (MDL) drives market growth and development by partnering and engaging with Independent Distributor Partners (IDPs) and retail outlets. This role builds strong relationships with IDPs, store leadership, and key retailer decision makers, and uses disciplined planning to adapt to changing technology, retail conditions, and consumer behavior." That's about role. Then "What You Will Do…" with sub-sections: Independent Distributor Partner (IDP) Engagement, Retail Development, Business Fundamentals. Each has bullet-like sentences. We need to turn each duty into
- . Could group under a single
- for responsibilities, or separate subheadings? The instruction: use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose. So we can have a Responsibilities section with a
- containing all duties.
We need to preserve all substantive information; we should not lose any detail. So we need to capture each duty sentence.
Let's list duties:
Independent Distributor Partner (IDP) Engagement:
- Build collaborative relationships with IDPs to support customer service and identify sales growth opportunities.
- Recommend optional resources and technology, help resolve retailer disputes, and partner with internal teams to reduce route disruption and strengthen route health.

Also "Who You Will Work With… Partner with the Business Development Manager, Zone Sales Manager, retailers, warehouse teams, and IDPs to identify business constraints, opportunities, and needs." This could be part of responsibilities or a separate section like "Team Collaboration". But we only have allowed headings; we could include under Responsibilities as another duty.
Now Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: "What You Bring To The Table… (Must Have) 3+ years of related sales or CPG experience, or 2+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree. Strong written and verbal communication, influencing, leadership, problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and drive regularly to stores, warehouses, and hubs in the market."
"It Would Be Great if You Have… (Nice to Have) B.A. preferred."
We could have Requirements (must have) and Skills (nice to have). Or combine into Qualifications.
We need to use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we can list each requirement as
- .
Now Benefits: we have a paragraph with many items. We need to turn into list.
Benefits list:
- Medical insurance
- Dental insurance
- Short-term disability

We should avoid duplication; but we must preserve all substantive information; we can combine similar items but not lose detail. We'll list each distinct benefit.
Pay: target base salary range $67,000-$92,200. Also mention total pay may include other forms of compensation. We'll include that.
Schedule: not present, so omit.
Now we need to output HTML fragment with headings
and paragraphs
for prose, and
- for lists.
We need to decide which sections to include: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (or Qualifications), Skills, Benefits, Pay.
We could combine Requirements and Skills into Qualifications section, but we have separate headings allowed. We'll do:
About the role
with prose (intro + How You Will Make History Here…).Responsibilities
with- list of duties.
- . Let's list them: - Build collaborative relationships with IDPs to support customer service and identify sales growth opportunities. - Recommend optional resources and technology, help resolve retailer disputes, and partner with internal teams to reduce route disruption and strengthen route health. - Lead route consults as IDPs request; conduct optional business meetings with IDPs to understand needs, support planning, and identify growth opportunities. - Deliver weekly, period, and quarterly sales plans and grow market share. - Identify market opportunities and share insights with IDPs. - Support retailer expectations by communicating, organizing, and planning targets for distribution, merchandising, promotions and key retailer events. - Support call coverage, coordinate inventory and logistics needs, evaluate
Requirements
with- list of must-have.
Skills
with- list of nice-to-have (B.A. preferred) maybe also include communication skills? But those are already in must-have. We'll just put nice-to-have.
Benefits
with- list.
Pay
withcontaining salary range and note about other compensation. We must not repeat job title as heading; we are not. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, disclaimer, etc. Now let's craft. First, About the role prose: combine intro paragraph and How You Will Make History Here… maybe two paragraphs. We'll do:
Since 1869, we've connected people through food they love. We’re proud to be stewards of amazing brands that people trust. Our portfolio includes the iconic Campbell’s brand, as well as Cape Cod, Chunky, Goldfish, Kettle Brand, Lance, Late July, Pacific Foods, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, Pace, Rao’s Homemade, Snack Factory, Snyder’s of Hanover, Swanson, and V8. The Market Development Lead (MDL) drives market growth and development by partnering and engaging with Independent Distributor Partners (IDPs) and retail outlets. This role builds strong relationships with IDPs, store leadership, and key retailer decision makers, and uses disciplined planning to adapt to changing technology, retail conditions, and consumer behavior.
Now Responsibilities list: we need to capture each duty as
- for lists.
We need to decide which sections to include: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements (or Qualifications), Skills, Benefits, Pay.
We could combine Requirements and Skills into Qualifications section, but we have separate headings allowed. We'll do:
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
