Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage contractor accounts to drive adoption and sales of products.
- Provide support to local distributors, including troubleshooting and resource allocation.
- Offer on-site jobsite assistance to ensure proper installation and product performance.
- Conduct product training sessions for contractors, distributors, and end-users.
- Build relationships within the design community, including architects and engineers.
- Deliver AIA-accredited presentations and product demonstrations to promote solutions.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of local market dynamics, competitors, and opportunities.
- Operate with autonomy, treating the territory as your own business to maximize growth and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in market development, sales, or technical support in the construction or security industry.
- Technical expertise in perimeter security products, including fencing and access control systems.
- Experience with jobsite support, training, and presentations (AIA certification a plus).
- Ability to travel frequently within the local market for site visits and events. (Up to 40%)
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
