Market Developer
About the role
Ameristar Perimeter Security, an industry leader in steel and aluminum high security fencing products, seeks a Market Developer in the Denver area. The ideal candidate will make sales calls to industry leaders such as architects, engineers, and other entities who specify perimeter security products, as well as local contractors and installers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with customers within assigned territory to meet and/or exceed organizational goals.
- Work collaboratively with the inside sales team and managers.
- Update customer profiles in CRM software.
- Understand each customer's business model and geographical coverage.
- Track top fence contractors by classification and market segment.
- Present product information to architects and specifiers relevant to the industry.
- Support local distribution partners professionally.
- Address customer problems and issues in a professional and timely manner with integrity.
- Travel to industry events and corporate meetings as needed (less than 10% annually).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant outside sales experience.
- Successful outside sales experience and strong time management skills.
- Experience in calling on architects, engineers, and end users.
- Comfortable calling on jobsites and construction projects.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the USA.
