Responsibilities
- Work with global exchanges, index providers, and market data vendors to review and negotiate contracts including commercials and usage rights
- Monitor the inbound flow of exchange and vendor notifications to assess their impact to Tower and triage accordingly
- Engage with internal stakeholders including members of Trading and Engineering to define and support new and existing use cases
- Design and implement robust data strategies and governance policies that align with business objectives, including identifying key market trends, analyzing competitor data, and guiding decision-making
- Manage exchange usage and reporting, audits, and compliance of market data
Qualifications
- A detailed knowledge of the language and structure of market data policies with a focus on unit of count and derived data
- A solid understanding of market data pricing models and metrics with the ability to provide alternative sourcing and contracting options
- Familiarity with global vendor platforms, products, entitlement systems such as VBD, BPIPE, EMRS, and DACS, and inventory management systems such as FITS and MDM
- Experience working with and seeing market data audits through from inception to completion
- A proven self-starter who can work independently and within a team while effectively managing multiple priorities
- Strong strategic thinker and problem solver with attention to detail
- Reliable and predictable partner who can be counted on by team members, senior staff, and external counterparties
- Relevant experience at a top buy-side (hedge fund, prop trading firm) institution

Pay
Anticipated New York annual base salary range: $120,000-$170,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
