Data Strategist
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and support IHSC data strategy, governance frameworks, and analytics roadmaps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and analytics use cases.
- Support data quality, standardization, and metadata management initiatives.
- Provide guidance on enterprise data integration and analytics architecture.
- Provide strategic oversight and coordination for data migration, legacy clinical data integration, and clinical viewer transition efforts.
- Support reporting and dashboard development in coordination with HITU Data Analysts.
- Advise leadership on data-driven insights and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise in data governance, analytics strategy, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience with healthcare or enterprise data environments.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and strategic communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE fitness determination (public trust) and execute a DHS Non-Disclosure Agreement.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DHS, ICE, IHSC, or other federal healthcare IT or EHR modernization (EHRM) programs.
- Experience providing strategic oversight for data migration and legacy clinical data integration efforts.
- Familiarity with clinical data domains, data standards, and metadata management.
- Experience coordinating enterprise analytics roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and enterprise data platforms.
