Market Consultant

About the role

Partner with the Market Leader, Internal Market Consultant, and Division Sales Director to develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with the overarching firm plan and deploys/leverages the resources and specialists of Invesco at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Developing differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share
• Identifying and gaining access to advisors who present opportunities for Invesco investment strategies
• Travel within the territory to conduct meetings with clients, COIs, and lead client events
• Delivering product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via face-to-face meetings, telephone, WebEx, seminars, and conferences
• Utilizing a consultative approach, delivering solutions before products to meet client needs and drive results
• Applying a digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience
• Executing a data-driven client segmentation strategy
• Performing portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise (includes practice level CIOs, CFAs, and analyst gatekeepers)

Qualifications

• High level work ethic
• Entrepreneurial and growth mindset with a business owner mentality
• Excellent listening skills coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
• 3+ years of asset management sales experience
• Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent preferred
• CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus
• Series 7 and 63 required (63/65 can be substituted for the 66)
• Technical investment expertise including superior knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors

Pay

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $65K - $70K Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.

Schedule

Full time, employee, exempt. Pursuant to Invesco's Workplace Policy, employees are expected to comply with the firm's most current workplace model, which as of October 1, 2025, includes spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
