About the role

- Partner with the Market Leader, Internal Market Consultant, and Division Sales Director to develop and implement a territory sales plan that aligns with the overarching firm plan and deploys/leverages the resources and specialists of Invesco at a high level
- Develop differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum wallet share
- Identify and gain access to advisors who present opportunities for Invesco investment strategies
- Travel within the territory to conduct meetings with clients, centers of influence, and lead client events
- Deliver product presentations to current and prospective Financial Advisors via face-to-face meetings, telephone, WebEx, seminars, and conferences
- Utilize a consultative approach, delivering solutions before products to meet client needs and drive results
- Adopt a digital and data-driven mentality to develop and carry out a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience
- Execute a data-driven client segmentation strategy
- Perform portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise (includes practice level CIOs, CFAs, and analyst gatekeepers)
Experience you bring
- 3+ years of asset management sales experience
- Undergraduate or college degree or equivalent preferred
- CFA, CIMA or similar certification a plus
- Series 7 and 63 required (63/65 can be substituted for the 66)
- Technical investment expertise including superior knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors
Pay
The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $65,000 – $70,000 base per year. The total compensation offered includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience and location.
