About the role
The Mark Andy Press Operator position is available in our Crystal Lake, IL facility. Shifts are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality printed material consistently
- Manage press and helper at all times
- Monitor workspace for safety compliance and cleanliness
- Manage daily housekeeping activities and other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years related Mark Andy press experience and training
- Ability to stand/walk/sit for 12-hour shifts
- Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
- Basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage
- Measure and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch
- Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis
- Ability to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel
- Ability to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors
