About the role

As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your analytical, strategic, operational, and programmatic expertise to work on projects for maritime systems. You'll research, design, develop, analyze, and plan to build comprehensive products supporting maritime systems and their supporting technologies. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and drive real-world support for the Department of War and its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Build a workforce planning and resource allocation application using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint to improve visibility into staffing and operational planning.
  • Write information papers and concepts of operation (CONOPs).
  • Coordinate technology initiatives that require collaboration across technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders and support modernization efforts, operational improvements, or new technology implementations.
  • Bring structure to complex efforts by helping teams establish priorities, manage competing requirements, and maintain momentum toward shared objectives and deliver clear communication, thoughtful planning, and building strong working relationships.
  • Deliver reference-based and hands-on training to Department of War personnel.
  • Work with Department of War command structures, policy, and formal documentation.

Requirements

  • Experience with building a workforce planning and resource allocation application using Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint to improve visibility into staffing and operational planning.
  • Experience with writing information papers and concepts of operation (CONOPs).
  • Experience coordinating technology initiatives that require collaboration across technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders and supporting modernization efforts, operational improvements, or new technology implementations.
  • Experience with bringing structure to complex efforts by helping teams establish priorities, manage competing requirements, and maintain momentum toward shared objectives and delivering clear communication, thoughtful planning, and building strong working relationships.
  • Experience delivering reference-based and hands-on training to Department of War personnel.
  • Experience with Department of War command structures, policy and formal documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP Certification

Skills

  • Experience with unmanned system deployment
  • Knowledge of DoW deployment and Operational Tempo

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).

To support engagement and effective communication, employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings. Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
