About the role
This role is Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. You will be required to participate in 1 in 3 weekend rota for overtime rates as detailed below.
Responsibilities
- Work as directed by the Marine Site Manager in the day-to-day operation of the marine sites
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of husbandry, fish health and welfare, quality standards and health and safety
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Management, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of salmon farming practices and industry standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Passport required for working away from home
- First aid certification preferred
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
- Knowledge of fish health and welfare
