Principal Duties/Responsibilities

• Proficient in ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair ship machinery such as, auxiliary motors, pumps, valves, launchers, ventilation equipment, steering gear, evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers.
• Able to read & understand blue print layout, assembly and installation required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Mechanic.
• Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment.
• US Citizen with a Clean Background and able to pass a Drug Screen.
• Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN).
• Able to hold and maintain a security clearance (a plus).
• Honolulu, HI residents preferred.
• Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Ability to obtain DBIDS is required.

Wage Range

$27.00-$44.80
