Principal Duties/Responsibilities
- Proficient in ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair ship machinery such as, auxiliary motors, pumps, valves, launchers, ventilation equipment, steering gear, evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers.
- Able to read & understand blue print layout, assembly and installation required.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Mechanic.
- Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment.
- US Citizen with a Clean Background and able to pass a Drug Screen.
- Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN).
- Able to hold and maintain a security clearance (a plus).
- Honolulu, HI residents preferred.
- Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalence.
- Ability to obtain DBIDS is required.
Wage Range
$27.00-$44.80
