Mechanic

ZMC Logistics in Honey Brook, PA (Chester County, close to Ephrata, Leola, Lancaster) has an immediate opening for a Class A Diesel Technician with 1+ years of experience. May consider a new graduate if all other criteria are met.

About the role

This position is responsible for the timely and efficient maintenance and repair of fleet tractors, dry van trailers, food and feed tanker trailers, and straight tanker trucks (non-hazardous materials).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on fleet vehicles
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and services
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements

• Class A Diesel Technician experience (1+ years preferred)
• Ability to work on fleet tractors, trailers, and straight trucks
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
