Marine Electrician - Level 2

Located in Bellingham, Washington, this onsite position offers the chance to work on cutting-edge marine technology in a high-performance environment alongside skilled professionals who share a passion for innovation and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, test, and commission electrical and electronic equipment and systems on marine vessels.
• Read electrical and mechanical diagrams to determine job requirements and specifications.
• Install electrical circuits as directed by supervisors and project specifications.
• Conduct thorough tests to identify and repair electrical malfunctions.
• Install AC/DC low voltage systems and assemble electrical components.
• Build wireways and foundations with minimal supervision, including basic welding tasks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace in compliance with all necessary standards (USCG, ABYC).

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Marine Electrician or in a related role.
• Strong electrical skills and proficiency in reading electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Ability to independently install electrical circuits according to project specifications.
• Experience testing and repairing electrical malfunctions.
• Experience installing AC/DC low voltage systems and electronic control systems.
• Fabrication skills, including building wireways and foundations with minimal supervision.
• Basic welding techniques and familiarity with electrical standards (USCG, ABYC).

Pay

$25 to $32 per hour.
