Marina Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of watercraft including engines, electrical systems, and hulls.
• Inspect boats and marina equipment to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Aid customers with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Operate marina equipment such as lifts, trailers, and fueling stations safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to support marina operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in marine mechanics preferred.
• Proven experience in boat maintenance and repair or related mechanical work.
• Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and general boat mechanics.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and perform effective repairs.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
